Behavior theory: Avances and perspectives on human behavior research
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presents a review of iIIustrative operant experiments on human subjects, and points out some of the conceptual and methodological problems arising from the application of conditioning theory to human behavior. In this context, the various advances and perspectives en human behavior developed from Ribes and López´s standpoint (1985) are examined. The present article stresses the topic of transfer. This problem has met with growing interest in studies of human behavior, either from the traditional operant view or from an interbehavioral standpoint. The paper concludes with a short review of a specific research program on the problem of transfer in humans.
