Abstract

Four rats were exposed to water-deprivation Schedule with 1 hour to free access and 23 hours of deprivation in a reinforcement Schedule IV 5; other four rats were control subject. Rats were deprived during 30, 25 y 28 days with free access between such deprivation periods. The food was available during the whole experiment. Results confirmed that binge eating, binge drinking, and recovering of body weight resulted when water deprivation was removed.
