Brief note on the concept of functional adjustment and its replacement

It is pointed out that the concept of functional adjustment in the field model of psychological behavior is logically ambivalent due to its antecedents in the logics of the reflex and the evolutionary doctrine. It is proposed to replace it by the concept of functional contingencies actualization.
